The recipe: Raw anchovies with lemon marinate
Ingredients
Serves 4
- ⅝ lb anchovies
- lemon juice to taste
- 100% Italian Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil to taste
- salt to taste
Preparation
20 minutes preparation
Clean, de-bone and rinse the anchovies in cold running water.
Then dry on a dish towel. Place in a bowl in layers with lemon juice, salt to taste, and add a bit of vinegar and a sprinkling of oregano.
Allow to rest in marinade for 24 hours, drain and place into another container and cover with 100% Italian Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, ready to be served.
