Ingredients

  • sage
  • 3 ½ oz all-purpose flour
  • 3 eggs
  • lemon zest, grated
  • 1 package baking powder
  • ½ half cup Grappa
  • granulated sugar
  • olive oil
  • salt

Preparation

20 minutes preparation + 5 minutes cooking

Make a batter with the flour, the eggs, the lemon, grappa and a pinch of salt. Leave to rest at least an hour, then add the yeast. Dip the sage leaves, washed and dried, into the batter, deep-fry in oil and serve immediately sprinkling over a little salt. Serve with aperitifs. Deep-fried and sprinkled with sugar can be served at the end of the meal.
