  • 2 lb potatoes
  • 1 ¼ lb beans
  • lard
  • celery
  • garlic
  • salt

Preparation

30 minutes preparation + 40 minutes cooking

In a terracotta vessel, cook over low heat the beans in water with the celery, garlic, salt and lard. Peel the potatoes, cut them up roughly and add them half way through the cooking, without raising the heat right to the end of the cooking.
