Taste the Ligurian coastline
Along the splendid Riviera di Ponente, the Ligurian coastline that extends from Imperia to Ventimiglia, you will find olive trees growing along the steep hillsides.
The aromas of near by forests and pine trees blend together with the sea air to give a unique flavor to the olives. Prized Taggiasca olives are grown here and give our Olio Extra Vergine d'Oliva Riviera dei Fiori its unmistakable aroma and flavor.

The recipe: Anchovies with lemon marinate
- ⅝ lb anchovies
- lemon juice to taste
- Riviera Ligure DOP extra virgin olive oil to taste
- salt to taste
20 minutes preparation
Clean, de-bone and rinse the anchovies in cold running water.
Then dry on a dish towel.
Place in a bowl in layers with lemon juice, salt to taste, and add a bit of vinegar and a sprinkling of oregano.
Allow to rest in marinade for 24 hours, drain and place into another container and cover with olive oil, ready to be served.
