Abstract:
Peperoni is a love story that stems from an old tradition of Calabria: a young man asks a father for his daughter’s hand in marriage by placing the stump of a tree in front of the father’s house. After this scene, the film then moves on to a typical Calabrese lunch with an abundance of peppers, cooked in all ways imaginable.
