Year of production: 2004   - Running time: 5 min.

Abstract:

What did the kitchen represent once upon a time? What type of world existed between the walls of that room? There were women gathered around a large wooden table, poised to cook. It didn’t take much to cause them to laugh. They were bound together like sisters with contagious happiness in a room where men were not allowed. This film is about a small girl, hidden behind the kitchen door, curious to discover what it means to be a women, how to make pasta and the mysterious female complexity.
