DAY 1 • SUNDAY
Morning/Afternoon: arrive in Parma. Dinner: at a casual trattoria/pizzeria, where you will be introduced to local Italian food specialties!
DAY 2 • MONDAY
Morning: welcome to Academia Barilla! Presentation, itinerary review and tour of the headquarters, including the prestigious Gastronomic Library. Hands-on cooking class with Academia Barilla professional chefs, in a custom course on authentic Italian cuisine. Lunch in Academia Barilla, featuing your preparations and wine pairing.
Afternoon: guided walking tour of the historic Parma city center and free time.
DAY 3 • TUESDAY
Morning: transfer and visit to producers of Parmigiano Reggiano and Prosciutto di Parma. Lunch at Torrechiara Castle.
Afternoon: visit to a local wine producer, who will give you a tour of their cellars and vineyards. Taste regional wines while overlooking the beautiful Parma countryside hills. Back to Parma and free time.
DAY 4 • WEDNESDAY
Morning: transfer to Polesine Parmense to visit a local Culatello producer. Tour of the farm, the cellar and lunch at the producer’s Michelin starred restaurant.
Afternoon: transfer to Pedrignano to visit Barilla pasta plant, the biggest pasta factory in the world! Lunch at Barilla company restaurant.
DAY 5 • THURSDAY
Morning: welcome back to Academia Barilla! Hands-on cooking class on Italian cuisine with Academia Barilla professional chefs. Farewell lunch featuring your preparations and wine pairing.
DAY 6 • FRIDAY
