Bobo was born in Conegliano, Veneto and grew up in the small town of Sacile on the Friuli-Veneto border. After attending Italian cooking college in Longarone he discovered a true passion for preparing food and expressing his artistic vein in the kitchen.
He began his career as a commis at the one-starred Michelin il Capriolo in Vodo di Cadore, then moved on to great hotels in Venezia and his native Conegliano. Proud of the culture instilled in him in Italy, Bobo acts as an ambassador of Italian gastronomy and culture alike. After honing his skills in Italy, Bobo took his talents international, bringing fine Italian fare to London, Germany, Monte Carlo, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood and New York. Bobo’s cooking applies methods that have been passed down through generations, yet he consistently pushes boundaries and explores new approaches.
His work is the embodiment of Italian culture and he uses only the highest quality ingredients to create authentic, contemporary cuisine. His ever-evolving body of work makes him an especially unique and innovative attribute to Italian gastronomy.
He currently lives in Santa Monica, California where he shares true Italian gastro-culture at restaurants Piccolo and Hostaria del Piccolo.
