Academia Barilla at the 2009 South Beach Wine & Food Festival in Miami

Visit Academia Barilla at the Casa Barilla Italian tent to discover Italian specialties, selected wines and more. February 19-22.

The Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by Food & Wine, is a national, star-studded, four-day destination event showcasing the talents of the world’s most renowned winemakers, spirits producers, chefs and culinary personalities.

This year Academia Barilla will be showcasing a tasty recipe, Crostino Fantasia,  which includes some of Giada De Laurentiis Selected by Academia Barilla products at the Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival. 

This fest is a four-day bash showcasing the talents of the world's most renowned wine and spirits producers, chefs and culinary personalities. 

Be sure to stop by the Casa Barilla Italian tent in the grand tasting area February 19 – February 22 to sample Italian specialties, selected wines, and even have a picture taken while you lounge on a terrace in Casa Barilla with the Amafi coast in the background.

The event is lined with superstar personalities, such as Guy Fieri, who will be hosting the Barilla interactive cooking lunch in the Country Club Ballroom at the Biltmore 12:00 – 2:30pm on February 21, 2009. 
Food Network celebrity Guy Fieri will bring participants through an hands-on experience revealing the preparation steps of some of his favorite recipes and then sit down with guests to enjoy the meal over accompanied wines.

If you miss the interactive lunch on the 21st, don’t worry.  There’s more fun with Top Chef winners Ilan Hall (season 2) and Hung Huynh (season 3) who will be hosting the Barilla interactive cooking lunch in the Country Club Ballroom at the Biltmore 12:00 – 2:30pm on February 22, 2009 with special guest Gail Simmons.
